Where to eat in Kingston

As Maloney’s have been in Kingston since 1996, we thought we should share with you a few of the places we would recommend to eat close to our office.

Kingston is a unique location in Canberra and despite being the oldest suburb, it remains one of the most popular places to dine and live.

Kingston offers an ever-expanding dining scene with many fantastic new places on the Kingston Foreshore, plus those in the older established parts of Kingston.

One of our favourites for lunch or dinner is Pomegranate on Giles Street. Fantastic fit-out combined with a modern Mediterranean menu. Pomegranate is great for a simple lunch or for the tantalizing taste sensation of the degustation dinner menu. It’s always great to go out to eat food that you wouldn’t cook at home.

Peter & I love going to lunch at Silo. Yes, it’s famous for its bread and tarts, but the al la carte menu for lunch is a real treat. Make sure you have the accompanying glass of wine. The owner Graeme knows his stuff. Then you can take home a tart or bread for later.

Kingston is blessed with great choice of coffee from Idelic, Me & Mrs Jones to Bitter Sweet in Green Square; all within a short stroll of the Maloney’s Property office.
