After-Hours Repairs
If you need to organise emergency repairs after business hours, please ensure you notify us via your tenant portal.
After-hours repairs are for genuine emergencies only.
An emergency generally means there is an immediate risk to safety, significant property damage, or a critical loss of essential power. Non-urgent matters should be reported during normal business hours to avoid unnecessary after-hours charges.
Whilst we understand things like your heating, oven or hotplates not working after hours is inconvenient, repairers will not attend and repair these after-hours. Suppliers for the required parts are not open so these repairs should be made during business hours.
Tradespeople charge more per hour for callouts after business hours and if you arrange repairs for non-emergencies, you may be responsible for the costs incurred.
Please contact ACTEWAGL or ICON Water before calling a plumber or electrician, as the fault may be with the supplier. If the fault is due to an appliance owned by you or failure to check for a supply outage, you may be responsible for the costs.
